Dr. Tufeiru is an Investment Banker and an Educator. Educated in Ghana and the United States, Dr. Tufeiru holds a doctoral degree in Public Policy and Administration, an MBA in Management and Business Strategy, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Banking.
Dr. Tufeiru is a seasoned financial service professional with over 15 years of investment banking and institutional asset management operations on Wall Street. Throughout his professional career, Dr. Tufeiru worked for Wall Street companies from Prudential Financial, Barclays Capital, Morgan Stanley, and Merrill Lynch. He is currently a Director at a quantitative asset management firm in the New York area where he manages investment operations supporting multi-strategy portfolios for institutional investor clients with a combined portfolio of $102 billion asset under management. Dr. Tufeiru also lectures as an adjunct faculty of business administration at Argosy University College of Business in the U.S.
Dr. Tufeiru determination, vision, foresight, and visionary entrepreneurship led to his formation of Gateway Holdings (Ghana) Limited, a wholly-owned Ghanaian company that procures and leases earth-moving equipment and haulage services to mining companies in Ghana.
Dr. Tufeiru research interest includes public management and leadership, organizational change and leadership, microfinance and rural banking, development banking, capacity building, good governance, poverty alleviation, and public finance.
